In the centre is the Cloth Hall, which during the 15th century was a major centre of international trade, where travelling merchants met to discuss business and barter. On the Eastern side is the entrance to the underground and high-tech Rynek Museum which opened in 2010. This follows the length of the Cloth Hall and well out into the market square. There are many remains of the old city buildings. Well worth spending a couple of hours, especially if it is raining outside.
